I have a picture of myself here.

Well I supposes it's about time I got off my ass and actually did something for this super-cool site of ours.

I'm just a regular guy, living in a regular house with normal everyday people. My life is boring, you shouldn't concern yourself with anything I have to say, because it is completely the sort of thing you would expect to hear from any average Joe, except my name isn't Joe, it's Chris, and the people I live with are completely insane... and I don't really think I'm all here either, actually.

If you made it passed that intro, you rock. I'll fill you in on what it is I actually do, and why there is an artist with no musical talent, except an uncanny ability to remember the words to Spice Girl song's, is on a funky ass band like the Diggadome's page. God, I'm kind of kidding. How the hell are you supposed to take yourself seriously when you know total strangers are going to read this stuff. I'll be as honest as possible.

What I do in the band is add the visual aspect to an otherwise groovin' aural experience. It started way back in the original Diggadome in Southie. They would play, and the vibe was such that I could not contain the need to connect and add to the vibe. So I started drawing on the walls to the music. Soon the whole 'Dome was decorated, with imagery that just kind of pops out when I'm not paying attention. so they had to move to a bigger space in Charleston...They're gonna have to move again soon. (Hint Hint)

They dig it, I dig doing it, so now I do it when they play out live. That's a Blast. There's no way to explain the feeling of being in a club full of people who expect to hear music, but have no idea what the hell the guy with the paint and the easel is going to do. Not to mention the pressure before hand of, "Oh shit! I have no idea what I'm gonna do but it can't suck!" Ask Melissa, she hears me freaking out before every show. Then I have a beer, relax, stop thinking about it and catch the groove. From there it's all good.

You really need to come and see it, so I cordially invite you.

Boogieing through the Brush,

Chris

OOOh, when I''m not painting with the band, I try to paint masterpieces, am currently an assistant art teacher for a bunch of really cool little kids, and will hopefully have a cure for starving artist's syndrome in the next five years.

At some point in time I will have tons o' pics of work up for you to check out
